Jacques Bakulu

Jacques is a corporate lawyer based in Luxembourg, advising founders, investors, and growth companies on the legal side of building and financing a business.

He practises with Elvinger Hoss Prussen in Luxembourg, where his work covers M&A, banking and finance, and venture capital and private equity transactions across Belgium and Luxembourg. Earlier in his career he practised at CMS in Brussels and at Deloitte Legal, gaining cross-border transactional experience in both jurisdictions.

He works regularly with early-stage companies on incorporation, fundraising, and the corporate housekeeping that goes with growing a startup, alongside more established clients on M&A and financing mandates. Alongside this, he follows the EU AI Act closely and advises on its application to AI-driven products and businesses.
